How big is the standard MK1 wheel?

Re: Steering wheel...
ive got a ten inch wheel on the general and it can be a nightmare as you cant see the dials properly, although it depends how tall you are

Re: Steering wheel...
I much prefer the standard size wheel. A smaller wheel makes it more difficult to steer I feel....but everyone has their own opinions on what they prefer. To be quite honest I couldnt tell you the diameter of a standard steering wheel, The mk1 seems bigger than the mk3 but I have never measured them.
Re: Steering wheel...
Thanks for the advice
Well I've been offered a cool steering wheel (think 1600E, Stag style etc) and the standard wheel keeps hitting on my legs. Anyone got a standard wheel and a tape measure?

Re: Steering wheel...
Moto-lita website recommends 14.5 inch wheel for the Marina.
That's the size I have and being used to a car with power steering and the fact I am not getting younger (arms soon to become pipe cleaners
) I am very happy with 14.5.
Plus the moto-lita has a larger grip width compared to the standard one so it looks smaller :?
Maybe thats why the MK3 looks smaller
At the weekend I can measure the standard wheel but I am sure some one will beat me to it

Re: Steering wheel...
I had a tiny "MG" wheel on JBS 422S - it was great for chucking it around corners with one hand!
