Peterborough BMC/BL day Sunday 1st August

Post by MarinaCoupe » Fri Feb 05, 2010 9:53 am

A little early for this, but I was contacted today by the BMC/BL organisers, they have upgraded their website. The MMOC have booked their usual pitch and all members will be welcome with or without their cars. Probably the best BL/BMC autojumble in the country, I have found parts there that I have never seen anywhere else.

You can download an entry form from http://www.bmcblrally.co.uk/1.html, this should be sent back direct to the organisers.

Overnight camping available.

I've booked already - see you there.

thats true paul about the panels, you advertise for the without any joy and suddenly the guy you sell the car to gets them through the place that you have already adverised on, nice aint it. But anyway about peterborough , the distance isn't a problem for us but not to sure if i fancy it to be honest. Is it any good or do you need to be part of that special group to be accepted, cause i have heard lots of stories about pally wally groups etc down there throughout all the marques.

Well last year there where all the clubs that normally turn up. There where Marinas on the stand and else where amongst the other marques. So take your pick.
If you don't fancy it I am sure no one will say you can't join their Pally Wally group :? I think Chris has already said all are welcome.

I don't belong to any groups apart from MMOC and I would become a member of Ecosse if I was welcome and it was economic to attend the shows.

A lot of clubs use it as an Infornal National meeting so they do get very pally wally cos they don't see one another that often. Personally I don't get too worried about it and focus on the autojumble, but I know what you mean Ray. As well as the club stands there are plenty of cars who line up by decade of car, there usually a few non BMC/BL as well. What you do get are some of the smaller clubs like the Suntor club which is a mix of A55s, Sherpas, Marinas etc., also Landcrabs, Farinas, post war Wolseleys, Rileys etc.
