I know we have a few Kiwis on the forum.
Whereabouts are we all?

Am I the only one in Auckland?
Anyone a member of a club that supports and encourages Marina owners, that organises runs and get-togethers?
I'm looking at the Leyland P76 owners club, as they are active in Auckland and welcome owners of 6-cylinder Marinas (which I don't have yet

, but is in my 3-year plan 8) ).

I know a couple of other owners down here in CH.
One belongs to the Morris Owners Club - but he finds the Minor 1000's are ganging up on him..!
May have to offer some moral support.

It's a waste of time calling all Kiwis. They all live near me in Brisbane Australia.

Are you two the only ones living in NZ??
The QLD P76 Club is happy to welcome all Marina Owners!!

Those that I know of on the forum include a young guy, Chris, in Oamaru (iirc) with a 1750TC Coupe, and someone on the coast with a 1300 van (sorry, can't remember the name

). And Kilroy and the newbie with the van in Christchurch.

CT90 Nigel is on the Coast and has a 1700 estate.
Zeb in CH has the restored ute plus a van under construction plus a Mk1 estate.
Joel lives here in Lyttelton and has a Mk2 saloon.
Some of these people do not post on the forum, although they may drop in to read stuff from time to time...
I have seen sundry other Marinas about the city but not talked to their owners.

Gidday,
I must be the young guy

I dont get round here very much anymore do I? Ill try stick around better this time
I have a club that supports Marinas, its called my schoolfriends

Since none of them are aware of the reputation Marinas have among older folk, they think its fookin aggressive, and any rear-wheel drive beats their jap cars
Cheers,
Chris

Im in chch, but dont currently own a marina. Will be getting one as a project car once my income settles down a bit... for now im running around in a green alfa romeo 156 V6.
My first car was a green 1.8 super MK2 saloon. Was in mint condition, and was awesome to drive. Would love a mk3 saloon.

Hi I'm here and I'm new, but I love Marina's and I live in Auckland, but I'm actually Welsh, so does that discount me?

I'll buy every 3 legged donkey on the lot, and try and save em all.

You mean you want a discount.?
I guess thats fair..
Sorry I'm a bit far away to help with parts - and it sounds as if your Marina is an Australian model so most of mine wouldn't fit - good luck with it.
Cheers.

Hi Killroy
Yep mines an ozzie one, much to my shock, I never even thought they made them until recently
I must admit your estates look awesome, how many marina's do you have?

Currently 10.
Tried selling a 575 van on Trademe, but the winning bidder has failed to respond to my emails.
Admittedly, I had to comment that a carport fell on it on the second last day...
Oh well, shall just list it again.

Yep I saw it and was tempted, bit too far for me, and I think the missis might object to another car for a bit (well at least until I've finished the other one)
Trade me has become full of non paying bidders lately, good luck with the next auction, at least the carport only caused a flesh wound
all the best
Ben
