Marina in the Sweeney

Heres a link to an episode of The Sweeney with a Marina appearance. The car is a police officers car coming from Bristol to London to help with Regan and Carters investigation. The car appears in other scenes and shows one of the interior with a police radio in the glovebox if you care to watch all the parts of the episode on youtube. Its strange how on the first scene with the marina in around a minute in the car has the front indicator and rear one working and the front head and side lights but no rear lights, odd. Enjoy

Theres also a Marina van in this episode that Carter hides in the back of and appears later on when they kick the doors open and have a good old Sweeney brawl in a 70s tesco car park, good episode.

I have the Sweeney box set and there's LOADS of Marinas in it!

So much so that the missus won't watch it with me anymore cos I keep stopping it going " LOOK!!! LOOK!!"

The most memorable so far is the episode where Carter's wife, ( whose agent was asking for more money) was written out of the show and killed in a hit and run by a 'Rina!

haha I have the series one box set, I want to get the rest. Im the same, if theres a street scene I always look out for Marinas and forget whats going on lol. yea Ive seen that episode, especially the tyres screetching as the bloke floors it away from the crime scene haha

In later series, there's a squad car is a Marina. Its the supporting actors drive it

I think Ive seen a photo of it, is it a blue saloon? Ive seen the episode with the aussies when the sweeney use a white marina van in that episode. I want to get the 2nd series but HMV doesnt stock them anymore for some reason.
