I've heard paint is hard to match in on GRP wings.

However, it wont rot which is the main consideration for everyday use Marinas.

as phil said though.....quality is probably shocking for that money......sonme of the repro grp stuff i used to use doing up beetles/campers was utter junk.....had a 72 fastback variant which came to me withe grp fronts on......was so far out of whack that the bonnet just couldnt be made to line up right no matter what you did

It'd be interesting to see a Marina that has some fitted and painted up.

They look ok. Were they pricey? What do they look like in real life? Is that a dent in the front tip or a shadow?

Good question. Does not look like a shadow, may even be a filler repair where it has sunken below the surface of the wing.

Where did you get them? Can you still get them? Can you fit them for me?

Smith and Deakin have a website, I looked yesterday. I think they were £85 each. I guess they are glued on. I think ,y wings are saveable but I don't know for sure. If I posted up some closer pics do you think you guys may be able to tell?

or you could buy the car on ebay in croydon
front end damage but comes with a pair of brand new steel wings. and then sell the car for cheap - as if you pay £85 for a grp wing thats £170 for a pair

you could also then compare cars and never know you might need other bits off the car

I would do but haven't got anywhere to put it. Also, I haven't got the heart to scrap a car. Never mind a car as scarce as a Marina! :)

Plus the steel ones will rot eventually. For an every day car grp is probably the best option.
