South West car run and pub meet-June 20th

A road run and pub lunch is being organised for the 20th June.

We plan to meet at Exeter services at 10am and have a coast run ( Dawlish Warren, Teignmouth etc ) and end up at the Highwaymans Haunt (Chudleigh) for a pub lunch. For an idea of numbers please let me know if you are interested asap so we can give the pub idea of numbers.

They are letting us use their paddock so we will park up and 'show' our cars on what should be a busy day ( fathers day )

Wifes, husbands, partners and grannys etc are all welcome as long as they can read simple directions-keep the car in front in view!

Is this all classics or just Marinas?

If a) then we'll probably have 6 or 7 of us in three cars- my Mk1 estate, a Saab 96 V4 and a Mk4 Spitfire.

If b) I guess it'll be 4 of us in my car!

Hi dave, I'm up for this. Only one question, I haven't got anyone to leave my dog with so he'll have to come with me. Obviously I won't bring him into the pub, but would he be allowed in the paddock? I would stay with him. Pick up anything he may do!

Are there any other (classics in general or Marina in particular) things going on in the SW in June Dave? Be nice to get out to a few things if we can, and I'm sure the lads would like to show their cars off as well- can't be that usual to have three 70's cars driven by lads 21 years old or less!

Don't suppose anyone coming on this has a B series rocker cover gasket I could purchase have they? Mine has thrown rather a lot of oil down the back of the engine

Philip-Thats great. Allowed eh? Still got your mobile and yes its the services at the bottem of the M5.

Matt-I had two gaskets come through from Rimmer Bros on Friday-your welcome to buy one off me-Ill try to remember to put one in the car.
