The drive way is just like mine! Houses of that era had garages put in the back garden and the side path widened to take a car.

Don't get TV repair men any more, they just go down the tip.
His he short or are those trousers wide

I worked with a guy who looked just like that.!

'Crannage Bros' TV and HiFi - in Uckfield, Sussex, 1980/81
His name was Brian, and he was a pratt...

I probably was too...

We got a chap near me who does repairs, but he hates the large tube setts as he can't move them on his own and he works on his own :|
Plus now it is not economic to repair a tube set so there are piles of them at the local tips.
You can pick up a flat screen so cheap now even those are not getting repaired and seen them down the tip as well
Just life I guess :|
I still have 3 tube sets, but when they pop it will be a new flat one 8)

When you can buy a 32" HD LCD with built-in digital decoder for less than I paid for my 22" Sony CRT ($1,000/500GBP) 7 years ago  , why would you fix the old one? :(
