Nothing definite yet but I have a few ideas. Unfortunately due to house move and trying to get some other projects started I am finding myself with little time this year. :(

Philip-have you tried contacting Dave B? As technically your in his area I think? :?

Maybe if local members would stop leaving pointless 'Yeah come on balmy!!!' messages and actually do something useful and give a hand we may get some things going-yep that is aimed at you fruity! :D :D :D

Things I am considering if we can get enough together:

18th May RMB Chivenor, Barnstable

The blurb from the organiser:
Last year we hosted the inaugural Petroc Motorsport Fun Day on May 23rd at RMB Chivenor. The day attracted a crowd of over 4000 who enjoyed glorious sunshine and some brilliant displays. The RAF Falcons Parachute Display Team, Jamie Squibb’s Xtreme MotoX stunt display and local and national motorsport teams entertained the crowds while static displays in the show ground allowed members of the public to get up close and personal to some incredible exhibits including the 2010 Renault Formula 1 car.
We are very excited to announce that on May 15th 2011 we are doing it all again in aid of The C Group, a charity that supports Royal Marine Commandos. At the time of the event, our Royal Marines at Chivenor will have been redeployed to Afghanistan and we would like to support them in every way we can.
This year will be bigger and better! In addition to some of the spectacular live and static displays from last year we will be enjoying some incredible stunt displays by Russ Swift, the Ken Fox Wall of Death Troupe, the amazing combat skills of the Royal Marine Commando’s Display Team, a live demonstration of Michael Schumacher’s Benetton Formula 1 Car, the 2011 Renault F1 car, the South West Championship Autotest, Extreme Sports Displays, Superbike displays and much much more ……………
We are looking for businesses, clubs and individuals to have static displays of their cars in our large show ground area and we are also looking for anyone interested in showing off their car in our live display area.

17th July The Historic car club Devon coastal run

Fruity, myself and my wife in her Sunbeam did this last year. A great event and one I would well recomend. Meet in Exeter early and drive via Teignmouth, Totnes and end up at Bovey Tracey for a show and shine.

I was also considering joining up with Dave B's area and organising something simliar to what we did last year on fathers day. Maybe a drive or meet at somewhere like the Atwell car museum at Calne-what do you think Dave?

Any interest in the above or I welcome new ideas? 8)

Sorry Dave..

Both those ideas sound good to me! How about a road run around exmoor national park with maybe a pub meal after? Some nice photo opportunities on the moor. :)

Cheers Dave, I think Exmoor would be a great place for a road run! Especially around Porlock/Exford/Wheddon Cross??
