Richard had his Morris Marina Owners club badge on the chrome grill (later one) and it came with the original grill so he put it on for me when taking the club badge off i've got the chrome one if i fancy changing it again...
i've got a buddy who has a early 1.3 grill on his lounge wall, gonna try and see if he'll sell it.. i'll have a choice of three then lol

hi chris sorry missed your plans question,, well as you know i was looking for a good body to do a V8 conversion on, and this one has a great body, but it also is a great all round car so i'm gonna just give her a clay barring, maybe a t cut,get the wheels re polished add a servo and stereo and just enjoy, shes far to good to mess about with V8, so i'll be looking again for another solid bodied car with bad mechanics and /or interior..for the V8 Project..

oh and i'm on the shortlist for Top Gear this summer so i'm looking forward to promoting Marinas on the show given the chance lol

Ah I see, it's good to have a choice. It is a great looking car! If I had the spare cash I would have been tempted! :D

Cheers Uncle Frank, yep she looks a good un, going to get spare hoses, leads points etc general service items and I'll be sorted, think i might put a servo on too, drove my peugeot yesterday for the first time in a week and almost headbutted the windscreen lol, modern brakes dont take as much pressure lol,
also need to cut the paint back as its a tad dull but given enough effort think it will come good and be shiney again..
any recomendations on cutting polishes would be appriciated, tried autoglym so far but not comming as bright as i want, better but still needs work :(
