been looking at a few articles on here and im quite tempted to save a up a bit of money and buy one, i dont know anything about them so i was wondering if anyone who owns one thinks of them and what there like to go on holiday in, sleeping etc!

have a look a Helen's Suntor she bought from Wagner auction here in Toowoomba.If you are over 5'6" ,like a good mattress then don't buy one..very cramped for larger people.

Perfectly suited to the average '70s Pom. :P

The "average" person has got a few inches taller and somewhat rounder over the last four decades. Must be all that Aussie beef in them Big Macs, washed down with all that Fosters and XXXX. :lol:

I'd beg to differ. I'm 6'2 and can stand full height in mine. (roof up obviously :roll: )

Likewise, I have slept in it and it was damn comfy. Bit of a squeeze to sleep on the drivers side cos of the steering wheel, but if your woman is a little shorter then it'd be fine!

They're obviously not that big a van and a 4-berth conversion must've been very very claustrophobic, but for the size of the van it is very well kitted out and usable.

Best bet is to try one out if you can.
