Local spots

Post by tathoarder » Fri Sep 09, 2011 9:58 pm

Just a couple of marinas i've spotted in my locality, one still in daily use by a little old lady only a couple of streets away.

I'll buy every 3 legged donkey on the lot, and try and save em all.

The brown coupé with the vinyl roof reminds me of a 1700 saloon I had, same colour scheme it was really straight unlike the 1300 saloon I had before it,it was a rust bucket,it did have a black webasto sunroof, that was great when it stopped raining.
I remember being chuffed because the brown saloon had the ohc engine, wow ohc for a marina now that was technical.

Unfortunately the one in the bush has now gone, the gardens been cleared, and the house up for sale. Must of been an old persons who's passed on. Wish i'd of gone and asked about it now!

Probably had a mint Tc and a Mumford in the garage :
I wouldn't worry about it there was probably the Marina's successor in the garage and that would probably be a Montego or Maestro
Hang on tho when was the last time you saw one of those?
I would definitely ask about the brown Coupe tho, years ago, I asked about one and a couple of years later I had a phone call and the old fella gave it to me, I tried to pay him for it but he wouldn't hear of it. He just wanted it to go to a good home, little bit of welding and it was back on the road 8)

Theres an orange estate regularly being used and lives in Fleetwood, Lancashire, where I come from, reg number is GDD 539V if anybody knows it, I'd have taken a pic but everytime I see it now its up the driveway and I don't think its polite to wander up someones driveway taking pics of their car
