Classic Car Weekly managed to include an article regarding this matter about two weeks ago. Those pictures were taken by a chap called Keith Adams, he was breifly Practical Classics editor and is now I believe CAR magazines editor, as well as running austin-rover.co.uk.
It is a disgrace, prototype cars were never rust proofed like their production siblings. The lack of storage is no excuse for the sake of some tarpaulin and string, just covering these cars up would save alot of problems from the weather short term. There is even a P5B owned by HM the Queen outside as well, I'm sure she would like to know how her cars are being treated!
On a seperate subject, I've got pictures of that cutaway Marina, it had anti roll bars bars so I take it it was a Mk2 or late Mk1 shell, an interesting thing to note was the rubber surround on the centre bearing had perished, I doubt if it had ever been used! I don't know about the stories of it being brought by a pub owner, but as long as it is being cared for then it is in a safer place than Gaydon!
