Post by XER905L » Fri Oct 12, 2007 8:52 am

www.applus.dk
- the look at the top right box where the TV commercial runs. Its actually really cool takeoff of those 1970s commercials - the car wasnt damaged and is fine now.I have seen it on TV everynight this week.Is it obvious what this company does ????

At least they don't have the unhealthy habit of wrecking automotive history for the hell of it! :D
The classic car movement needs Jeremy Clarkson like Jenson Button needs a towhitch and a Sprite Musketeer....

Actually Applus is the recently privatised former state monopoly for vehicle roadworthyness inspections. The commercial suggests that having a proper test will ensure no unpleasant surprises with brakes and steering now that many independant workshops now also offer the Danish equivalent of MOTs. The commercial looks much better when I see it larger size on my TV :)
