6 CYL MARINA COUPE

Post by dazza2623 » Wed Mar 14, 2012 3:02 am

Hi Guys, hope all is well in Marina land.
I haven't been doing much lately, but I did manage to do a 1300k round trip 2 weekends ago to retreive a 6 cyl coupe.
It hadn't been registered since 1979.
The sad thing is the wife has said no more.
I will post some pics soon.
Happy cruising.

That's because you are slow to catch on.

What she is really saying, is "buy me something".

You are simply paying a lot more attention to the car than her. Address that and all will be sweet.. :)

That is a negative.
What I will be doing is to find a guy to copy them so other people have the opportunity to have one.
That goes for the factory front spoiler I have as well.
I have noticed some people have ST rear spoilers, has anyone copied these so other people can obtain one

Its probably been asked before, but is the engine bay longer to accomodate the 6 cylinder and by how much?

Were special panels made or did the inner, outer wings and bonnet have extensions added?

Thanks

The front valence and cross member behind it were modified to allow the radiator to be mounted further forward.

if you manage to get any of the rear window louvres made up i'm interested, i managed to find one for a different car and with a dremmel drill and some thought managed to get it to fit, but would really love the proper ones for my coupes..

Eamonn

Wha are you looking to make them from, vacuum formed ABS or fibreglass? If fibreglass then the people that did my instrument pods in Bedford may be able to help.
