You boys and girls have been busy in my absence!!
, as for the Northern boys arrests if i remember right it was mainly down to my old mate Russell from Sheffield and a couple of his mates who thought it would be a laugh to turn up in fancy dress as bank robbers, only thing was they forgot to take the disguises off at a petrol station on the way down
, they were released after a couple of hours and eventually made it as we were getting ready to leave
, we did have a good laugh at the time, those of you who remember Russell will remember he had a wicked sense of humour, i don`t know what he`s up to now as i lost touch a few years ago, perhaps one of the northern boys have kept in touch? any ideas Matty?

I do recall the "Bank Robber" incident however I suspect certain information may have been witheld. The idea was for Russell Beckett ,aided and abetted by Brian Saunders to re enact a scene from the "Sweeney" by hot footing it into the National Day arena dressed as bank robbers in Russells' MK3 Sandglow pick up (hardly a MK2 Jag I know). They were pursued by another vehicle from the Northern fleet which probably included Scurrah and Biffa Lockey. As Frank states, they did turn up late but this wasn't exactly out of character so I didn't think that much of it.
Fortunately I had travelled to the show earlier with Richard Young. His mum had told me to look after the lad so I kept him well away from that lot,not wishing to incur the wrath of Ruby.I must say they looked like they needed locking up!!
I think saunders speaks to Russell once in a blue so I'll find out what he's up to during the "Interview"
