AOX update

Post by MarinaCoupe » Wed Jul 11, 2012 7:45 am

In contact with Ian Harrop last night, the works Marina has been off the road for a little while after a light prang.

Image

They are thinking of doing the Classic rally which runs alongside the British WRC Rally in November. It's a big challenge and they are looking for assistance (mostly money) to buy additional wheels / tyres etc. to make it happen.

If anyone can help please contact me in the first instance and I'll put you in touch. As an alternative idea, I was thinking about how the Fastmarinamagazine forum members as a whole could between us come up with some sensible cash and maybe get ourselves a credit/sticker on the car.

We raised £400 for a hospice donation when Darren White died, we could do something similar for this.

Anyone any other ideas or have an opinion?

I'd be up for helping out Chris. I'd be happy for a FMM sponsor sticker etc. Let me know what you decide.

I've had a couple of thoughts, maybe ask them for a shopping list of stuff the want with prices and then we'd have something to aim for.

I'll go back to Ian and see what can be done.
