What did you do to your Marina today?
Changed the rear axle bearings on the V8 - took most of the afternoon as the N/S carrier had swollen and had to be honed out. On the plus side I've stated labeling up the engine loom...

Replaced the leaking wheel cylinder this morning and put on a set of new brake shoes. I was very surprised how easy the brake pipe came off considering its still on the original steel pipes!

Funny you should mention that Sean, I thought the same thing about Ducky, all her unions came off pretty easily, just my rear brake hose which was seized onto the floor mount.
Today I put a door mirror on Ducky, I bought a secondhand (so it doesn't look too out of place) clamp-on type. Was a pain fitting it as of course the door edge is angled, but we got there in the end. Just worried about the bracket rubbing on the scuttle now

I always keep my brake pipes greased up josh so that has obviously helped. When I cleaned off the grease at the nut the pipes were as good as new

The vans had two trips to the tip and one to the scrapyard today to make some room in the garage. Tomorrow it's getting cleaned out inside to bring stuff down to pbro. It it stops raining I might wash the outside!

Re: What did you do to your Marina today?
Got the Coupe out today to prep for tomorrow at Peterbough.
Front disks stuck on, clutch stuck on. Brake freed off with a push, but the clutch took about fifteen miles of driving rounding the lanes and villages of North Bedfordshire with my foot permanently down on the clutch. Making clutchless changes by knowcking out of gear and matching revs up and down the box.
Then I packed 6 steering racks - there's a spare one if anyone wants it tomorrow. Also a gearbox for someone who has already bought and paid for it some time ago.
See you all tomorrow.
