When were you confirmed OLD?!

Post by Al Williams » Fri Oct 19, 2007 8:49 pm

I am 35 years young for the record...... :D

At the weekend I was busy doing work on the Marina, door swapping etc etc.

Wife say's can we go to Tesc*'s?

OK, so we jump in the Manta and head to Boston....

She wander's off and leaves me to read a book and a couple of young girls pull up in a modern thing (don't ask as I don't know what!) and start looking at the car.

Nothing new in that as all the old cars I drive attract attention.....

"What a cool car"

" Yeah, but look at the old guy"

"Nice car, pity about the old bloke"

Yeah thanks for that!

Got home unloaded the shopping and carried on fiddling with the Marina, a couple of kids pass and they make me feel good again!

" Told you this bloke was cool, look at his camper"

"What is it?"

"Austin Morris!"

Ah, the ying and yang effect!

The morale to the story is this, if you want to be cool, forget the Sporting 70/80's car and buy yourself a Marina Sun Tor!
