It wasn't that bad an article but I liked the comment "you could spin the inside rear wheels when cornering with alarming ease" so what is wrong with that

They just can't leave us alone
While at the shops this morning I noticed the Wheels magazine on the shelf was 60 yr celebration.I can remember buying the 50 yr anniversary magazine ,it seems only a few years ago.Anyway in the 10 worst cars list was the Marina 6.

.They were not that bad,if you read the whole article the big grip was the front end ,a few changes & they were fine, there was alot of pluses over the opposition of its time.At least when they road tested it the only problem they faced was stopping the fuel from spewing out of the petrol tank because the retarded driver forgot to put the cap back on after refuelling. When they road tested the 6 cyl Cortina the front suspension collapsed as they left the Ford factory ( and they complained about the Marina suspension ,at least they did the road test ).My mother still believes our Marina was a great car that was reliable & comfortable. There are far worst cars out there I suppose they left the P76 alone this time.In the list they put the Mercedes ML as one of ten worst. We own an ML270 & it is awesome and brilliant on fuel, parts are fairly cheap as well so the Marina isn't in bad company I suppose.
