Thanks chap.

Not wanting to sell it at all of course - but it will deteriorate rapidly where I am living so I might as well let somebody else become custodian.

Strangely enough - there is less challenge in a car that is nearing the full extent of it's restoration. I have found the mechanical side of this one to be rather exacting because it had been put together very badly by people who did not seem to be at all sympathetic to the original design - but having sorted most of the glitches - there does not seem to be much left for me to do...

Funny old business.

Yes - but just how 'near' is not yet clear.

I have a few things to tidy up on it - which includes fitting the original non-shortened gearlever.

It was alright for me as I have long arms.. :)

Her indoors had to stretch a bit - so I figure I will use the short one in a car with less padded seats.

Sold.

Very keen young chap drove it away last night.

Very pleased it has gone to a good home.

It sold for the minimum bid - NZ$3000.

Best price I have ever got for one though...
