I'm shortly removing the 1800TC engine and gearbox from my Marlin Roadster and somebody is interested in buying.
Problem is, however, I have no idea what they are worth. The engine is complete with manifolds, carbs etc.
Anyone give me a clue as to the going rate for a 1800TC engine and gearbox ?
Thanks.

I'll try. It's still in the car at present and with being a Marlin the bodywork is quite close so there might not be much to see !LORENZO73 wrote:I AM INTERESTED IN BUYING IT, CAN YOU SEND ME SOME PICTURES?

I paid about £140 for a complete, supposedly good but untested/ out of the car/ painted by Noddy engine & box a couple of years ago. That was with the carbs and all ancilliaries.
Yours, if it's running well, not burning oil etc, then obviously I'd look at starting a bit more than that- really though it's one of those things that's worth what someone is prepared to pay...
