Re: Understeer.
Me got the same as well
I just PM Chris to say I had the Allegro mag, bit confused.
They got some cash in they club looking at the accounts
I guess the mailing list has got messed up
Which could cost their club or the printers

Got one to...thought someone was playing a joke on me and joined me up to the Allegro owners club!!
Re: Understeer.
Nice and colourful! Also pleased to hear I am now editor of it?! Interesting to see the amount of income generated from spares, sounds like the Club has quite a haul as well.

Re: Understeer.
I always thought the twin-carb 1750 2-door had the potential to be a bit of a pocket rocket. We only got the 4-door (most 1300), but a mate had a warmed over 1750 that went like stink, and handled nicely on wider wheels and tyres.JoshWard wrote:Does anybody else quite fancy an Allegro now or is it just me?.....
The last one I saw for sale locally was a 1500 auto. I always thought it curious that the OHC E-series fwd cars got the choice of a 5-speed manual or 4-speed AP auto, but the B-series cars made do with a 4-speed manual or 3-speed Borg Warner 35 auto. Would have made the Princess a much less lethargic car, with a 5-speed manual or 4-speed auto.
