looking for a trusted mechanic Christchurch nz

Post by scrat6 » Sun Jun 15, 2014 12:41 am

Hi guys,
Im after a mechanic who can spend a bit of time fixing up my '74 marina estate to wof standard.
Needs steering rack, new exhaust, speedo cable and a few other bits and pieces, also the possibility of a complete strip and repaint.
If anyone in the Canterbury region knows of anyone reliable who could carry out this work any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks scott

Give me a call on 021 117 6848.

Just got back from the USA on Monday and I have not been on this site for months.

Cheers.

Yo all.

Access to the internet from the USA was limited to emails and updating my blog - which I am still finishing.
http://www.kilroy.co.nz
Am having to remove the earliest stuff to make space for the latest.
Riding most days for 90 days does not leave a lot of spare time for exploring - but we managed a fair bit.

Now I am home I need to get some Marinas moving - literally.
They did not like sitting for 3 months in winter weather outdoors.

Did not see any Marinas in the USA, but I did see a Hillman Husky.!
And an Austin America - basically a 2-door 1300.

Still adjusting to being back in NZ.
And all the crap drivers...

Cheers.
