Dang!

Post by Kilroy » Thu Nov 15, 2007 10:50 am

Just when you think you have a bead on all the best units out there - another one shows...
This is the latest Marina to pop up on the NZ auction site;
http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motor ... 312445.htm
I have decided to go to some extreme lengths to procure it and the TC that has been featured several times in the last 8 months;
http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motor ... 724043.htm

Mk 3's are my particular flavour - but I have never before seen a TC over here - and it is in wonderful condition, so I guess it has to be saved.

Wish me luck my friends..!

Kilroy

NZ cars had their own colours combo of exterior/interior as well compared to UK cars.

The TC looks very good, and for the other - you just cant beat low mileage cars can you :)

Ok - so we've decided to buy them then..!
Thanks for the prompting.. :D
Not sure how well the red colour imitates its original shade - havn't seen either car in the flesh yet.
Shall make my top limit $2000, and I see the Mk3 reached its reserve around $1000, so I don't see many potential buyers going to twice that.
We will see - but at the end of the day - I do still have to repay the credit card...!
Cheers all,
Kilroy
