I remember that happening - he was absolutely gutted! It was one of the few genuine ST coupes....... If you look carefully, you can even see the warped roof and side panels - ruddy Transits! And the red thing in front was a coupe, converted to a pick-up with a 1.8 ex-Sherpa diesel engine. Right shed!
The classic car movement needs Jeremy Clarkson like Jenson Button needs a towhitch and a Sprite Musketeer....

i bet i was more gutted than you .that was my car that brian had borrowed .its still nice to see a pic of the northern boys doing what we did best ,pratting about .i would be good to get the gang back together again . ill try and sort some of my old pictures out for you guys to look at.

And the car is all gone now ?? Doesn't look too bad. but if it happened a ew years back it was more likely to have been scrapped

Yes, that car was scrapped - the damage was quite severe to the shell. Nowadays, of course, it would be reshelled into one of the many shells left after Minor berks have scrapped the car for one or two bits......

The Lagoon TC Coupe used to belong to Brian Dodd.I do recall he used to tow it to shows with a Mumford the same colour

, that lagoon Mumford that Brian Dodd used to tow that TC with is the one Gary is currently restoring...LTM575P
