Mine does the same - but only after a longer trip, running around town it rarely drips any oil but after a trip? - hoo boy, it looks like the Torrey Canyon had run aground in my driveway!nicholas9917 wrote:Between the block and bellhousing, it is dripping where there is the adaptor plate on the bottom
Pretty much you will have to drop the sump and crank to replace the rear bearing (I assume you intend changing it because it will 'tighen' the gap between the bearing and the scroll on the crank?nicholas9917 wrote:So in reality i have to take the sump and crank out to change the bearings? Or would i need to clean the oil out of the scroll as it was simply filthy oil once i bought and put new oil in?
