does anyone have a n/s/f bumper end cap for a mk3 I have now painted the car and managed to sort the bent bumpers there just one end cap missing then she can be put back together and used again someone must have one lying around in the back of the shed

hi stu ive not long sold 2 new ones but i think ive got an old mk3 numper in the back shed somewhere so ill have a look and let you know.

thanks that would be brilliant much appreciated also you wouldn't happen to have a pair of door mirrors for the same cheeky I know or at least one for the drivers side as both are missing or do you know where I could get them if not thanks again

do the mini ones not screw into the top of the doors ?? mine are fastened with 2 bolts into a triangle in the front of the door I have just had a look on ebay at metro mirrirs and they look similar do you think they will fit ??

No, the Metro ones have a totally different mount, the Mini "plastic" ones are the same, with the two offset bolt fixing.

Hi Stu
I am removing the base model bumpers from my MK3 as I have aquired the correct chrome set with end caps and rubber all intact , so If you are interested in the base bumpers with all end caps m8 let me know .

yes thanks martin all I need is the end caps really but if u want rid of the complete bumpers just let me know how much and i'll arrange to pick them up mine is an L model but has chrome ones fitted as well, I now know the mirrors I want are available from a mini so the bumpers are the only thing to finish the job off, it's only a couple of hours drive from here so collection is no problem look forward to hearing from you soon

how does £20.00 for the pair sound m8 , just about to clean up the chrome ones and then remove the Base bumpers .

sounds spot on to me i'll give u a call to arrange, you might want to give all the bolts etc a liberal dosing of wd40 a good few hours before you remove the old bumpers as I have found the mounting bolts for the plastic end caps end up snapping off as they are only plastic wouldn't want to damage them now would you.... lol

thanks for the bumpers Martin I just got back they're spot on, the only things I need now are a n/s/r wheelarch trim and the small strip of rubber that goes in the n/s/f bumper from the indicator round the plastic end cap if anyone has any ??
