while surfing ebay last week managed to find a pre production corgi Morris Marina coupe in orange with blue/black interior,
well chuffed as been looking for one of these for ages.got a few chips but good enough considering how rare it is,.

I've only ever seen one for sale in NZ - iirc it went for over $70 (about 35 quid).

yea Bryan they don't come up very often, I've seen them sell for up to £800 mint in box mind (although I thought pre production came in plain boxes ) I got this one for £8.50 so well happy, and don't care that it's not mint, none of my 1:1 scale are mint either lol

I've got one of them.... luckily the bloke at the toy fair didn't know what it was until money changed hands.....
The classic car movement needs Jeremy Clarkson like Jenson Button needs a towhitch and a Sprite Musketeer....

well done,

mine was on eBay with start price of 99p emailed asking if they had a buy it now price and came back with £8.50 they choose the price I paid, I'm going to code 3 some other models I have

over the winter collecting playworns at moment
does anyone know if there were ever any estate models any make ?

Never anything other than coupe and then Vanguards saloon, but someone did do a limited edition resin body kit for a van and the estate to fit the Vanguards chassis. I think they are so rare they are heading for three figures now, if you can find one!
