How many Marinas Produced? How much was a Jubilee?

I have a figure of 809,612?
Or even 807,500?

Also how much was a Jubilee in 1973 new? I have a figure of £1500 Bear in mind inflation was 20% and on the way up back then!
I have been told that 2000 Jubilees were made (every BL dealer ship had one allocated) Maybe someone knows how many BL dealerships there were in 1973?

What about the diamond ring story? Allegedly hidden in some jubs.

There were 60 Diamonds (60 years of Morris) hidden in all models of cars not just jubilees as far as I know and it was a diamond and not a ring I believe. Each diamond worth £500

Interesting that you think 2000 were made because there were 2000 dealerships, as that also ties up with the number of Marinas built pre-launch (approximately 2000 saloons, 2000 coupes and 1000 TCs), so one of each for each dealer with presumably the bigger ones getting the TCs.

I have read figures as high as 1.5 million produced once the vast numbers of commercials are taken into account.

I have only heard someone knew a guy who won one! May be a Morris employee nudge nudge know what I mean?
I would imagine it would have been broadcast well if they were found as that is the whole point of that sort of deal / offer to publicized Morris etc.
But know how things were back then they probably did not make the most of it or there were not as many hidden

How do you know there were 2000 dealerships Josh?
My uncle who bought his Jubilee new told me 2000 were produced and for £1500 each and he is good at remembering these facts.

I tried to find a 1973 Price list a few weeks ago so I could see what the list price of my MGB was and how much the optional extras were. Didnt have much luck. found a USA 1972 one and several 1978 ones. But could find nothing in between for the uk Ihave with the car though a full 1974 uk dealer list but have not added up the total.

I don't I was simply saying if you say there were around 2000 dealerships in the early 70s it explains the number of cars built pre-launch. There must be lists somewhere of the registered dealers, I am sure somebody I know compiled one for Ford dealers in the 1960s from various sources.

hmm, i think that Daaaave has an original bill of sale for a Jubilee, will ask him if he can have a look, i think the car was discounted a fair bit as it was brought by a foreman at the Cowley factory!
