Marina spotted!

Had a bit of a surprise this afternoon on my way back to the office. Was waiting to pull onto the A12 when a Damask MK2 1.3 Special saloon ARC 923T went flying past! Sadly I got stuck behind a tractor so wasn't able to catch it up. Looked well used complete with black tape on the door bottoms! Same owner since 2010 apparently. Didn't get a look at the driver, was it you??

Think it's the first time I have ever seen a Marina on the road 'out in the wild'.

Is T reg not a bit late for Demask Red seem to remember it being an early Seventies Colour

More likely Carmine Red.

Damask came out at launch and lasted until 1977. Was quite faded and the sun was shining across so didn't get a very good look, could well have been Carmine, especially as the car was registered in late 78.

Edit: Found a pic of it in my library. Definitely looks to be Carmine
