Yes I was going to say a K series then you can choose from a 1.1 right up to the vvc or even turbo it. I know a couple of people that have put them into mg midgets so with a fitting kit and a bit of work it should be poss.

yes, quite a few options. The Marina gearbox concerns me a bit though as it's not the strongest at the best of times. I've emailed the guy asking how much he wants for the car.. if most of it is still there! Just waiting to hear back now.

Give him a ring, he was only asking £350 when it still had an engine and gear box, so don't think it will be mega money.
