They may even get it out if we turn up

If we end going there! There maybe 3 to look at!

As a footnote.
I took my car to the Crich tram museum in Derbyshire with another group recently.
Great location, central, and lots of cobbled hardstanding for cars ...which they welcome.
One for the future maybe?

When is your deadline? I had meant to write about the purchase of my 1.8 HL auto from auction, but haven't done anything about it yet. Actually if I do write is doesn't matter if it goes in a later edition, but it depends if you need anything for this time around!

More cars this time. I think my article on mold making took up a few pages in the last one!
I like the pic on the back cover.. that's how others saw me when my rear quarters were rotten

Good mag again, haven't read it all yet. Spotted the bit on Bens van doing a long trip, I did 435 mile in my 575 last weekend and found it ok. It was its first proper trip since getting it back on the road. Mostly cruised at 60 but compared to the 440 I had before it was alot louder and didn't have much left for overtaking, about 75 max. I've got an Ital 1.3 rear axle to go in etc so it will be changed as soon as I get a chance before any more long motorway runs.

Thanks all. It came out better than I thought!
Thanks Chris. Yes it is quite noisy at 50+, although having it ply lined helps a lot.
I really want to retain the 575 axle as I like the bigger PCD so looking for a diff that is better for the 1275 on a run. I'm not too fussed if I don't find one as it is fine for everyday use. My intention is to use the Turbo for long hauls once it is on the road.

Ben
I'm sure Richard Young put an early MGB diff in his pickup to improve the ratio for longer journeys.

Lee Busbridge has a complete 3.89:1 axle for a 575.
