David,
I helped the owner get the original registration number reissued and a new V5C. I heard later that it was going to be used as an historic rally car in Sweden, where only cars with original papers can be used in competition. It was beyond all possible repair in my opinion, so I suspect that only the V5 and plates made it across the North Sea and the rest was weighed in. I would like to be proved wrong though.

Even if it was used it must have been reshelled as it was totally rotten!

hmmm - i hvae a nice rustfree shell - if the paperworks still available
