Internal weatherstrip

Post by locost_bryan » Thu Feb 02, 2017 9:43 pm

Need some help. Some of the door seals and weather strips are missing from my Mk1 TC Coupe. Been looking for a local NZ supplier, to save on postage from the UK. Found these, but not sure if they're the correct profile. How do they compare to what East Kent Trim supply?

No image. Not sure where this fits in. I thought the channel rubber went right round the wind-up window - front, top, and rear. Or is it in 3 pieces - front and rear for the window to slide in, and another across the top? (Don't have my parts manual handy to check)

Top frame door seal fits in a narrow channel on top of the frame and down the leading and trailing edges above the glass area.
Prevents rain getting in between door and body.
