Prise off the wheel arch chrome trim

Post by btorvestad » Wed Jan 30, 2019 8:07 pm

I am preparing my car for sandblasting and painting and wonder if someone can tell me the best way to prise off the chrome trim on the wheel arches?

Work from one end using a plastic pry tool but remember the 2 ends are held with a bolt on clip so you need to remove the nut on the inside of the arch first. Should come off OK if you don't over bend it or kink it hence use a plastic tool between the wing and trim.
