We stayed a few days in Harstad, the town were i grew up in and bought my first marina
I even got time to help my brother out changing the rear brakes on his car before MOT.
Then we set out heading further north (approx 600km) to northcape
People get small in this mighty nature
The marina runs perfectly. The 6 cylinder engine have lots of torque and cruises happily between 90-100 km an hour. Althoug we most often drives between 80-90 km/h. There is not too much to tell as the only thing i do with the car is refueling and checking oil. - so i hope it's not too much pics compared to the text.
Sorry for the late uopdate
The trip up to northcape went without any problems at all . The Marina was performing her best giving relaxed cruising at about 90km/h.
As most of you will have guessed we reached north cape at 23,30 and although it have been grey all day - when we got there the midnight sun broke through
----
The next day we headed back to Harstad and decided to go via Tromsø
On our way back we had some of santa's spare vehicles in front of us from time to time.
The route to Tromsø is more coastal so here are some more pics.
In front of tromsø cathederal
Then it was back to Harstad resting some days before starting out on the trip back south.
Some more pics from Harstad
Also took the car up to the worlds largest land based gun/artillery in the world. called Adolf-gun. The dimensions are enourmous, still there is less than 1/4 of it above ground. The caliber is 40,6 CM and the range is 56 kilometres.
Then there was the small matter of driving 1450 kilometres down south again - holiday over .
Pic is from the trondheim cathederal which we visited on our way back
The rest of the trip went without any problems. So with approx 5000 km more on the clock and an average fuel consumption on 1,2 litre pr 10 km
i'll sumarize this year holiday in one big
