Rear Bumper on Ebay - Beware!!
Mr Peter Yule is selling another (Or the same one) rear bumper for a "Marina" Ebay Item - 310023633246
I have asked him for its BL part number and also furnished him with correct BL part numbers for many different models!
He has not replied and I believe the bumper is not a marina one! Looks more like a Austin 1300 one.
The only reason is I have noticed someone bidding on it and not sure if they are on this forum!
Don't want them to end up with a bumper no good to them!!
Regards,
Paul.

This bumper is being sold by a mate of mine. It was actually me that put the listing on ebay for him as he is computer inept!
As far as we know it is a marina bumper-it all seems to line up but like the listing says this one has a ridge in the top of it. Looking at photos we reckon its for a mk2.
If anyone knows better than please let me know. If anyone is interested in it then bid away as its in great nick and the blokes wife is sick of bumpers sat around in her lounge.

Unfortunately his wife, who ended up paying for said bumper ( cost him £80 !!!! ) due to him not knowing how to use paypal doesnt care what its worth and just wants her money back! :? What ever happens I reckon he will stay in the sh1t for a while yet!

Fellas, depending on the work required have you considered having your bumpers re-chromed,prices start at around £30/35 per bumper and go up according to the amount of work needed to re-plate them (often cash-in-hand can yield substantial savings)
I would only go for new bumpers/under-riders if you can get the replacements at a good price,or damage has deemed replacement out of the question (and of course your own are most likely the originals)
I still have a couple of contacts in the plating world so if anybody needs help please let me know
