Cumbria steam gathering

Post by stuthegasman » Mon Mar 17, 2008 6:51 pm

Just thought i'd let you all know its on the weekend of the 26th and 27th July it's free to anyone wanting to show their car as long as it falls into one of their categories but they need to be there for both days all day no leaving early etc and applications need to be returned before the end of this month see you there :D :D I was there last year and there were plenty of other marques including the morris minor (sorry) but no marina's

yeah that will be good Andy are you going to do the 2 days ?? I spoke to the organiser today and he is pleased to have a marina or 2 or maybe more and it's ok to use the ecosse club flags etc plus it's free to exihibitors I think there was some confusion at the club meeting but it's definately free you just got to stop there on both the days that's all but theres a big haven site 50 yards down the road for camping etc on the sat night

I never uttered a word, Larry. That was the funny thing. Possibly Mrs General didn't like the scent I kept leaving at the back of me that night, Ray just couldn't keep up!

I think I will go through on Wednesday night to clear the air and give the Nuggat a hand with his motor before he starts to shout at me

I don't think so Andy as the closing date was end of march so it is too late now for any new cars to be added as I think paul and Ray wanted to come, I take it the mk3 is painted now ?? I really will come down and have a look but i've been on holiday in devon all week but back to normal tomorrow
