Tax exempt or not + update.

Could anyone tell me if my recently acquired TC Coupe is tax exempt or not. Chassis no is MH2S9 T 227235M. It was registered in April 1973 but I hope it was made in 1972.

It is nearly ready for an MOT test. I have cleaned it up, a goog mopping & some elbow grease & it looks a different car. I have checked it over on my ramp & replaced both rack gaiters, all four tyres with 175/70 x 13, refurbished the wheels & given it a good service. Apart from that I can see nothing wrong with it. I still have to change that awful steering wheel when I find another suitable one. The later suspension mods I have looked at carefully & you can see the chassis has been modified to allow for these but done very well, I am suitably impressed. The quality of work on this is very good as is the minimal amount of welding that has been done to the underside.

I have too many projects & this weather does not help. I need a drivers seat or a cover & I also need carpets, any offers?

Unfortunatly not Ken. Strange tho since my TC was also registered in April '73 but built October '72! Have you got anymore piccies of the old girl?

My TC is also registered in April 1973 (18th) but is a couple of thousand past the cut-off chassis number. I looked at a superb low miles Ã‚Â£1800 black tulip TC coupe in 1993 that also dated from April 1973 in Essex.Is it still about and known to forum members?
