Glamis Castle 13/7/08
Well it's fair to say that the gods were with us over the weekend with blazing sunshine and marina parts littered the autojumble field, a few were purchased from full new bl systems to new nice shiny chrome. There was 2 pair of genuine bl wings, the asking price £375.00 per pair and £130 for 1 patterend copy. I got the bargain of the weekend from Irene's dad, i finally got him to sell his 71 ( k ) coupe for a nice £100 so now have another project for the winter, and another 2 new members signed on to ecossse as well. Will get some pics of the show on for you all to have a look at shortly, but all in all a brilliant weekend just a shame stu was on holiday and martin had his hands full of mk1's

8) It really was a good weekend and the weather for once was glorious.Front wings at £375 for a pair was extortionate. I just think that some people are ripping the arse out of the "supposed" rarity of the marina.
I got myself a brand new rear bumper still in the poke for £40 which I thought was fair enough. Just need a new front one now.
5055 had a rest this weekend as the MOT is up but it should be back on the road very shortly. Also got 2 new chrome front grille inserts for a tenner.
All in all a good weekend. 8)

Yeah I must agree that today was a great day and it was also good to stay for the entire show. I must admit that I did have a flash back as soon as I arrived. One of our Pilgram Bulldog kit car owners broke down just outside the rally and I removed my car from the club stand to assist with the stricken car. Needless to say we got it going again and as usuall one of the stewards was being a bit of a knob and wasnt going to allow me or the kit car to re enter. Common sence prevailed when one of the other stewards waved us in and congratulated our kit for finally getting to the show! It just goes to show how a yellow vest can give a human super powers!
Beauty with brains behind it!
