How long ago was the last estimate done of remaining cars done? And perhaps more importantly when and how could this exercise be repeated. Thanks.

Would be nice also to know how many are just tucked away in garages or hidden in hedgerows!

Not 100 % sure on this one guys, it seems to vary depending on who says what :roll: , but the original figure was about 700 Marinas left registered with DVLA, but that obviously doesn`t include all the ones that have been off road for years tucked away in sheds and garages, personally i reckon a figure nearer 1200 would be more realistic bearing in mind all the cars that keep coming up on ebay :wink:

I'd agree with Frank ! For example this evening i found out about another one hidden away in a couple's garage on the isle of wight ! Apparently it was their first car together and been garaged for about 15 years ! :shock: :D
