No i do not own a Marina, I have owned 2. One I converted into a prop for a production of Grease by chopping the roof off and yanking out the oily bits. The other one I bought when I worked at an auction in North Wales. It was a very early 1.3 may be even pre production h or K reg I think. It had 12000 miles and a square wheel like the Allegro, fsh and 12 months tax and test. I bought it for £15 and ran it until the wheel fell off!
At the auction I probably drove 10-20 different Marinas every week for the 2 years I worked there. I have probably more experience of Marinas than anyone else on this forum.

For the record I own a 1954 MG Magnette, 1973 MGBGT and a 1984 Peugeot 205 gti. So I have nothing against British Leyland etc, I have no desire to own another Marina, nor do I have any strong opinions about people who own them. I just think that you all need to get a bit of perspective and learn to see the events on TG for what they are, a bit of harmless fun.

For saying that I will probably get blocked from the forum again. Ho Hum

I presume a fair bit has been removed from this thread?
