Seems hard to believe that the pick up should be taken off the road just four years after its magazine feature. Looks like it met an untimely death or was taken off the road and put into storage before the whole SORN system came about.

 I have been in the loft at my mums today and have found the very same articles and a few more besides, plus lots of other Marina/ital stuff that to be, honest i haven't been up there for years.
But the best find was three copies of "Jalopy" the best car mag ever produced,i bought eveyone until it finished after about a year into it's introduction (the others should be about it just finding them!) it terms the Marina as a Morris Minor with sholder pads, now thats a write up.

Beckett Bros "with sholder pads (an option)
