Marina Mk2 4 Door wanted for photo shoot

Post by MarinaCoupe » Fri Mar 13, 2009 10:40 am

This is a bit of a stretch, the club have been contacted by a reputable production company for a car for a two day indoor advertising photo shoot at Pinewood studios next week 17th & 18th March.

They are looking for a specific car - a Mk2 4 door in yellow, mustard, sandglow, harvest gold and it must have a black or dark brown vinyl roof.

They will trailer the car to the shoot and will need it for the full two days, it cannot be taken home overnight as it will be built into a set design. They will pay a fee for the shoot.

If you can help contact me on 07967 480534.

thanks,

Whitestuff are the most rudest arrogant, dont know how to offer common polite return calls after confirming they wanted my car then promise return calls/emails..All I say is good luck to you!!!
The story was: I had contact from "Whitestuff" Hilary via a text messages,They said yes we want to book the car..sent photos across.. was then promised return calls..after return calls..after emails...to firm up details as to where they wanted it..confirmed dates, booked time off work..

I spend 4 days prep'ing it ready for the shoot, took out the back seats and parcel shelf loosen the front passenger seat..all as per instructions ready for the shoot.......Ordered and paid for, FITTED a tow bar (as it is needed to tow a caravan....)
Then I read this....
All I would say is best of luck to you..if mine is the last marina on earth never shall whitestuff have the honour of seeing my Marina again!!
Fingers burnt..cos I took someones word as a bond!!
ARRRRRGGGGGGGGGG

Hi Stuartskyhigh!
Did they film your car or did you end up doing all that work for nothing?

Sound dodgy to me!

Hi thanks for the tip on Whitestuff - who/what are they?

The contact for the one I have been dealing with is a well known TV and Film supply company on behalf of their client. The film company recently supplied the Morris Minor in the Walkers Crisps add with the Chilli on the top of a roof rack.

To all..
After speaking to Chris yesterday..it seems the shoot that was posted here for..is "maybe" not the same one.
However I still standby the problems I have had with "whitestuff".
To those who asked they are a fashion high street chain..who dont know how to be polite!!!
I didnt do the "shoot" although had spent time any money and buggeration prep'ing tha car..then silnece from them after they had asked me to/booked me/.....

What happened to the day when a "word was a bond"??????
