thought it was about time i fitted my new wheels and put the 1700 axel on the coupe, lowered it as well i think the ride height looks nice with the 15" wheels and 195/50 boots on. The spacers on the front are only 23mm quite a bit less than the dolly wheels i had on there to begin with she handles a lot better on the corners now. the handbrake cable is now mk 2 it all ligned up fine jim and works a treat.
pickys before and after

before it was lowered

after a weekends work

little better than the old dolly wheels

cheers gents i'm inclined to agree 8) allmost made a major boo boo though the rear wheelnuts that i thought were holding the rear wheels on wern't went to do a job and put the fake split rim capheads in the wheels and noticed that the wheel was moving funny the little buggers were bottomed out so i got away with that one . one thing i did notice was there was some rock on the drums a little like the front when the bearings are worn however there is no bearing noise, anyway to get to the point i cant remember if the half shafts out of a 1300 axel are the same as the 1700 if so i can pull the 1300 one's out and refurb them can anyone confirm please.
