I suspect some of you will look on this as scare-mongering but sadly it isn't. Those of you who have invested heavily in your cars will need to get concerned, as will Frank and some others as it will directly affect what you have done/will do in the future. Read the links, and before you get all "the FHBVC will deal with this" I can tell you they won't as they cut loose from representing regular useage cars several years ago but haven't told many people about that.....

Sounds bad news to me.
That's a lot of Triumphs and MGBs etc will be not be historic cars then due to re-shell etc.
How big a modification would declare your car not historic?
I hate these people already.
what do we do?

as it gives a base letter to send to MP and MEPs and the contact info at www.theyworkforyou.com. then write the letter(s), find your MP/MEP and hassle the buggers. They are supposed to be there for our benefit so if enough individual letters arrive, they should take some notice.....

Potentially more beurocracy (deliberate miss spelling to get Euro in) for us to deal with.

It looks like they started with railways and are now expanding into all forms of transport trying to apply similar rules.

Interesting that they include Buildings and Infrastructure. Does that mean some of the curent car plants will be preserved for all time like the Fiat Lingotto building in Turin. (search engines at the ready)
