Well, 40 years ago today the motoring press gathered at Cannes to get their first impressions of the new Morris Marina. Think I'll open a bottle and propose a toast: To the Morris Marina...hip,hip...hooray!

Were the pictured cars pre-production, or did the early production cars get "proper" wipers? (I can't recall the details of the wipers and front suspension)

I think all early J plates had wipers that way which is what most mordern cars have now, but then they changed over with the going the other way :?

My brain's even older than the Marina.

I thought the "fix" for the wipers lifting at speed had been made before they went into production, but obviously not.
