Just been reading all about Gary's mumford in readers resto's in the December edition of Classic Monthly a great read and some fantastic pics all of whick were taken by my mate Eric so can be bisased of the pics on two counts 1: very nice marina in pics. and 2: my mate took the pics. all very good really if i can scan it in i will post on here.

Yes mate good article. Shame they didn't name Frank as your painter, they just write that you said a mate did it whose got a body shop.

Just got my copy, (good old Tesco's)

Yea quite pleased with that overall, bit more of an article to what other mags have offered for the Marina over the year i reckon so all good :)

Frank has had a mention (just as Austin Morris Services) and including his work number so bit better to strangers than just "Frank the paint man"" i guess :)

not sure about the dodgy looking bloke with the long hair tho :? :lol:

Great article, lovely car (looks a treat with the D1s). Nice to see some more positive press coverage too, well done :) .
Oh by the way, I remember an article in Practical Classics a few years ago comparing a Marina TC, Mk1 Toyota Celica 1600 ST, and another car, possibly an Opel Manta? Were you in that? Or do you have a brother? Its just that the name seems familiar.

Blimey! well remembered, yes it was my brothers car at the time, but i was there on the day of the shoot myself and could be seen sitting as a passenger, that must be about 18 years ago!..?
