Shit

I have posted this in his memory then -
Darren's TC Coupe restoration
Darren's Yorkshire Video
Darren's Rover 75 V8 going as it should!
My heart goes out to his Father and I know they both only recently lost Darren's Mum.
Really bad news.

He was such a nice guy and a good friend and will be sadly missed.

I heard the very sad news this morning and found it very hard to take on board, Darren was one of the nicest guys i have ever had the privelege to meet, i spent many an hour chatting with him at shows and meetings over the past few years, a very quiet and humble man, Darren would always show an interest in other peoples cars and he would never go on about his own car....even though it was obvious to anyone who saw his TC that he spent a lot of time and effort to make that car look that good!.
I am sure many of you will feel as i do about Darren, and will miss his company at the Marina meetings this year, we have lost a great guy and i for one will miss him a great deal..
Rest in Peace mate,
Frank.

Like Eamonn I knew little about Darren but from the news of his death and the effect it has had on others it is clear to see the sort of chap he was :( I was very much looking forwards to getting to know him better at shows this year but I guess that won't be happening now

Rest in Peace Darren.

We don't know the full circumstances yet, there will be a PM. Andy W is in contact with Darren's dad on behalf of the club and will let us know.

We don't know the funeral arrangements yet, the club will be doing something and I'll post the plan here.

On a personal note, I got to know Darren in 2010 when we went on a car run in his TC and we shared a hotel room on IoW that August. He was a really nice bloke, no side to him at all. God bless mate.

Lovely bloke-always had a laugh with him. Still in shock-haven't thought about anything else today and still stuck for words. What a loss.

i can only agreed what have already been said. Only knew him from 2011 but a really nice guy. Tragedies like this make you think and appreciate what you take for granted everyday. Makes me sad. RIP Darren.
