in my experience mate the ready made ones are ok and do the job but aint great, hence why i made up my own, i just got some carpet from woolies trim and shaped it to an original one, works well, just need to be patient and allow the carpet to settle for a few days before finally trimming off on the edges.

How was the carpet "shaped" originally? Did BL have a machine that stamped or moulded it to the correct shape?

My carpet from Woolies trim was about 60 to 80 quid. Used original backing like Gary D but as the weather was so cold did not do such a great job as Gary D but it is smart so pleased.

Mine was off the roll so not formed just flat.
Did it that way as I could match the original carpet style and colour spot on. But harder to fit.
